So I keep seeing comments like this everywhere:

• “Bullies are always going to be bullies, you can’t teach them not to be.”
• “You can’t teach someone not to rape, only how to defend yourself from a rapist.”
• Substitute either of those for criminals, mean people, people who hate members of the LGBTQIA+ community, racists. 

I don’t understand that line of thinking. I understand not wanting to bother with them, but you CAN teach people not to be horrible to each other, you CAN teach people not to hurt each other or be selfish or feel entitled or feel better than other people.
